What to Expect After Your Reiki Session

Updated: Aug 17

Here are a few things to keep in mind after your Reiki session.

What to Expect AFTER Your Reiki Session

By the way if you missed the previous posts in this series, click here.

  • Continue drinking plenty of water and hydrate your body after your session. Sometimes, this energy is moving a lot of things, it's detoxing internally. So, it's important to continually rehydrate, and drink plenty, plenty, plenty of water.

  • Eat healthy foods during the day, if you can.

  • It's nice to dedicate some quiet time just after your session, a few minutes to reflect on your experience, to journal any thoughts or any insights or any clarity that you received during the session.

  • Remember that even though the session might be physically finished, you are still receiving the energetic benefits of the session; the energy is still working for you. When your session is finished, just keep this in mind that you might experience things over the next couple of days or a week, again, insights, emotions might arise, things might become more clear for you. So just be aware. And what I always say is, "If you're aware, then just be thankful that these things have come up, and whatever they are, then just let them go." Just let them go, and be grateful for what you have received, there's no need to dwell on them.
