Your Experience During a Reiki Session

Another question I get is what to expect in your session and how Reiki feels.

Your Experience During a Reiki Session

By the way if you missed the previous posts in this series, click here.

The effects of a Reiki session will vary from person to person and from session to session. Depending on how your body receives energy is going to determine what you experience.

Some common things that people experience is they might feel is sensations from the practitioners hands. For example, you might feel some sensations like heat or cold; different variations in temperature. You might feel a little bit of tingling. Sometimes people describe that they feel like electricity moving through their bodies. Some people see colors, some people don't see anything at all. Some people don't even feel anything. And that's okay too because the energy is still doing its work.

A lot of people actually fall asleep during the session because they become so relaxed that they just fall asleep. I always say, if you snore, don't worry. This is the one place that you won't get any complaints. So, if you fall asleep and snore, this is the one place that you're welcome to do that.

Again, most people are so, you're just so peaceful and relaxed in the session that they fall asleep. If you're awake or asleep during the session, just remember that you still receive all the benefits. And remember, everybody's different. Even what you receive and experience can vary from session to session. All you need to do is come with an open mind, and your only job is to relax, let go and let Reiki flow.

Let me know what else you would find useful to know during your Reiki session.
