Creative Ways to Use Reiki Beyond the Treatment Table
When I first completed my Reiki training, I thought I understood what it meant to “practice Reiki.” I gave sessions to myself, family, and friends. I worked with clients. I even offered Reiki to animals. That felt like a full and rewarding practice.
But one day I asked myself: Why should Reiki be limited to the treatment table?
That single question changed everything. Slowly, I began inviting Reiki into my everyday life—into the ordinary, the routine, even the stressful or chaotic moments. It took me a couple of years to really stretch into this, but once I started, the possibilities opened wide.
Now, I encourage you to do the same. Be curious, imaginative, and playful with Reiki. The only real limit is our thinking. If you open your imagination, Reiki will meet you there.
Attached are just a few ways I’ve integrated Reiki into my life. I hope they inspire you to create your own. And remember – if you’re not trained in Level II yet, you don’t need symbols. Pure intention works beautifully, and you can always substitute whatever symbol feels right to you.
