Training Reiki Level One and Two Together or Separately
You may be wondering if you should take your Reiki level one and two together (back-to-back) or allow time in between.
Teachers have different beliefs around this question. For example, I’ve heard one teacher say that a student should wait 21 days before taking level two. Personally, I was taught level one and two back-to-back and I loved this because the healings were deeper.
When I’m asked the question whether these levels should be taken together or separate, I advise it’s the students’ choice and preference. A student may or may not be called to take the training together, or they may have time constraints. I accommodate this in my training by teaching levels one and two over two days and allowing the student to choose what’s right for them.
Students often share they feel the Reiki energy stronger when they use symbols. Regardless, level one training should give you the foundations of Reiki for life and this is all you need; advancing your Reiki skills further is a choice for you.
